    Miss Jennie Limbaugh, daughter of Joseph and Susan Limbaugh, was buried in the home cemetery December 10, 1902. Deceased was born August 3, 1878, and died December 4, 1902, making her 24 years, 4 months and 1 day old. She had been a sufferer for a year but bore her afflictions patiently. When her disease had baffled the skill of home physicians, she sought the more genial climate of California, accompanied by her brother Arthur, but it was of no avail; God, who doeth all things well, took her to live with Him, where pain and disease are unknown. She had united with the Evangelical Lutheran Churchsome months before here death, and gave full assurance of an abiding faith in the atoning blood of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Jennie leaves a mother, four brothers and one sister to mourn her departure, but her Savior is also their Savior, therefore they can meet her again. It is attested by all who knew her that she had a smile only for everybody. Her pleasant face can never be seen again in this world, and her place in her family can never be filled, but know this, she has clasped the hand of her sister Hattie who preceded her in the blissful shores a few months, and together they are singing hallelujah to the Lamb that taketh away the sin of the world.     Died, at the home of her mother, Mrs. Susan F. Limbaugh, July 1, 1902, Miss Hattie A. Limbaugh, aged 19 years, 9 months and 28 days. Such was the sad intelligence which but recently has bowed in sorrow so many hearts in the community where the deceased was known and loved. By her gentleness, her Christian character, her sweet charity and her helpfulness she had won a place in the affections of all who knew her, and her memory will live with us and her name be cherished by us while the heart beats and memory is true to her office. Hattie had been confined to her room most of the time the last six months. On February 23, 1902, she had to undergo a surgical operation which she stood so well. Then everyone thought the time of recovery was near, but alas, it was the reverse to that. The dreaded disease formed on her lungs and recovery became impossible. She passed away shouting "I am going to rest." Hattie, with her two sisters, united with the Lutheran Church July 3, 1902. She leaves a mother, two sisters, four brothers to mourn their loss. The funeral was preached by Rev. C. C. Lyerly, pastor of the Lutheran Church, and her remains were laid to rest by the side of her father in the Limbaugh Cemetery.
